Asics x Solebox Gel-Lyte III GL 3 ‘Blue Carpenter Bee’ (2016) (H61NK-9090)

ASICS team up with Hikmet Sugoer’s Berlin-based sneaker brand Solebox for a new version of the Gel-Lyte III silhouette, dubbed ‘Blue Carpenter Bee’. The sneaker comes in the blue and black colourway, colours which were inspired by the Blue Carpenter bee, and the shoe was released in April 2016. The upper of the sneaker features full black nubuck with the tongue crafted from an electric blue suede. Additional details include a grid shape pattern on the side which pay homage to the bee’s wings. Branding is present on the sides which features Solebox lettering and the sneaker sits on top of a white midsole with a partially translucent outsole.
