Nike Sneakers
Nike is the world’s largest sportswear brand and the best-known name in the sneaker world. From the Air Force 1 and the Air Max to the Dunk, many silhouettes that shape the streets come from Oregon. Below, compare the selection by model, size and price.
About Nike
No brand has shaped the modern sneaker as strongly as Nike. The company began in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports, founded by running coach Bill Bowerman and his former athlete Phil Knight, and initially sold mainly Japanese running shoes from the trunk of a car. In 1971, the name became Nike, after the Greek goddess of victory, with the Swoosh as its trademark. Bowerman’s experiments with a waffle iron produced the famous waffle sole, and from that point on, Nike delivered breakthrough after breakthrough. The Air Force 1 brought visible Air cushioning to the basketball court for the first time in 1982, the Air Max made that air unit literally visible in 1987, and models such as the Air Jordan, Dunk and Blazer grew from sports shoes into cultural icons. That combination of technology and timeless design language means that virtually every Nike silhouette returns in countless colorways, with corresponding price differences depending on the retailer and version. On Solezilla, you can compare the full Nike range from dozens of shops side by side, so you can see the best price in your size at a glance.
Frequently asked questions about Nike
Do Nike sneakers run large or small?
Most Nike models fit fairly true to size, but there are exceptions. The Air Force 1 and the Dunk are known to fit slightly roomy, so going half a size down is often more comfortable. If you're unsure about a specific model, check the fit feedback for that silhouette.
Which Nike models are the most popular?
The Air Force 1, Dunk Low and Air Max line have been among the most sought-after models for years. The Air Jordan silhouettes and the Cortez also remain timeless classics that keep returning in new colorways.
Why does the same Nike model have a different price from one store to another?
Popular colorways become scarce, and each store sets its own prices and manages its own stock. Solezilla compares the same model across dozens of stores, so you can find the best price in your size without having to keep ten tabs open.
What style does Nike suit?
Nike is a true all-rounder. Heritage silhouettes such as the Air Force 1 and Cortez work well with casual and streetwear looks, while the Air Max and performance models have a sporty, modern feel. There is a Nike model to suit almost every wardrobe.
What is the most popular Nike sneaker?
Right now the Nike Air Max BW OG Persian Violet (2021) (DJ6124-001) is the most sought-after Nike, with a Hypescore of 93 GSv.
