The Adidas Ghosted, in full the adidas X Ghosted, is a football boot from adidas’s X range, the line focused on pure speed. It is a low, extremely light speed-boot with a thin, skin-like upper, a snug fit and a sole plate tuned for acceleration. Where a control boot is about touch, the Ghosted is made for the player who relies on their first steps and top speed.
Light and built for speed
Everything about the Ghosted serves speed. The upper is thin and streamlined, with a minimal, layered construction that weighs little, and the boot comes in a laced and a laceless version for smoother contact. The low cut and the sharp, tapered shape help with acceleration and changing direction. It is a boot for explosive, fast players.
From elite to entry-level
The Ghosted came in multiple tiers, identifiable by the suffix: the Ghosted.1 as the top model, followed by the .2 and .3, plus + and Plus versions. The higher the tier, the more advanced the material and the plate. In addition, the boot was available in different sole types, from FG for natural grass to AG, TF and indoor.
Marvel editions and its own legacy
