Kobe is the only player in NBA history to have two retired jerseys on the same team. He got there via unending focus on the game, and the Kobe 8 Protro ‘Court Purple’ is inspired by his in-season flow. Numbers 8, 24 and 2—the jerseys worn by Kobe and his daughter Gianna—repeat boldly in Court Purple across the white mesh upper. The arched midfoot plate brings added support and stability, making the Kobe 8 Protro a mainstay at all levels of play.
