Ugg Tazz Slipper
The Tazz is the Tasman on stilts. Ugg took the slipper that had just gone viral, put it on a thick platform sole block and in one move had one of the season’s most sought-after models. Everything that makes the original recognizable stayed the same; only the height changed, and with it the whole character.
The construction is that of the familiar slip-on. Suede upper with a dense wool lining, the braided zigzag strap in a contrasting color around the entire collar and the brand logo stamped into the suede. Beneath that lies the difference: a uniform sole block of several centimeters, with a finely ribbed upper edge and a coarse tread on the bottom. It makes the shoe heavier and stiffer than the flat version, but delivers the silhouette change the model is centered on.
The timing explains the success. The Tazz appeared just as the Ugg Tasman and the Ugg Classic Ultra Mini were having a second life on social media, and also benefited from the broader platform-sole wave in fashion. At shops it was hard to keep in stock season after season.
In the selection on this page, alongside the regular versions you’ll also find themed ranges and kids’ sizes, recognizable by the abbreviations GS, K and TD in the title. If you’re looking for the same model on a flat sole, the Ugg Tasman Slipper is the direct counterpart.
On this page you can see which versions of the Ugg Tazz Slipper are hottest right now according to the Hypescore, from what price they can be found and how many shops have them in stock.
The Hypescore reads the signal strength of every Ugg Tazz Slipper colorway. Community votes, resale movement, search demand and scarcity together decide how much hype a sneaker gives off, expressed in GSv. On the left the strongest hype signals, on the right the colorways just being picked up and rising fast.
