About Saucony Endorphin Elite
Saucony Endorphin Elite
The Endorphin Elite is Saucony’s top model, the shoe the brand positioned above its own race line. Where the Endorphin Pro is already built for marathons, this model goes further: lighter, more aggressive, and with a carbon plate that isn’t flat in the foam but curved along its length, so the foot naturally rolls forward.
The construction is pronounced. The midsole consists of the brand’s lightest foam with a cutout in the heel, allowing you to see right through the sole. Across the instep lies a strap with a metallic, color-shifting finish that secures the foot without adding weight, and the upper is an ultra-thin woven panel with the brand stripes woven through it.
That makes it a shoe for a small audience. The build is aimed at maximum speed rather than comfort or durability; runners use it for races and a few sharp workouts, after which it goes back in the box until the next race.
Within the range, the Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 is the more accessible marathon shoe and the Saucony Ride 18 the daily trainer. Competitors are on the pages of the Nike Alphafly and the Asics Metaspeed Sky.
