The XT-Quest is part of Salomon‘s sportstyle line, in which the brand’s technical trail shoes are translated for everyday street use. The sharp, paneled silhouette references the early 2000s.
The upper combines breathable mesh with synthetic and leather reinforcements in the most heavily stressed areas, plus a pronounced toe protector. The SensiFit construction wraps the foot from midfoot to the laces, and the Quicklace closure tightens everything with a single pull.
Underfoot is a lugged outsole designed for uneven terrain, but on the street it mainly reads as a coarse detail. That’s exactly why the model made a comeback.
