Flight is not a model at Jordan Brand but a secondary line. Alongside the numbered Air Jordans, each tied to a season and a game, there is a range of shoes that carry the brand feel without belonging to that canon: more affordably priced, more widely available and seen more often on the street than on the court.

The name goes back to the early days. Early Jordan campaigns revolved around flying, with the Jumpman silhouette as the emblem and the slogan that the brand literally kept its players in the air. What started as a slogan became a product line: shoes with Flight in the name, recognizable by the cursive script on the heel or tongue.
