About Air Jordan Jumpman
Air Jordan Jumpman: the branch that borrows from the line
The numbered Air Jordans are the main players, but Jordan Brand also makes a whole line of shoes that wear the Jumpman silhouette without claiming a number. That’s what you see on this page: models like the Two Trey, the Pro, the Quick 23, the Diamond and the MVP. They share one working method: borrowing parts from the archive and recombining them.
The Two Trey shows that most clearly, and the name is already a clue: two-trey is street slang for twenty-three, the jersey number. Look at the shoe and you’ll recognize parts you’ve seen elsewhere. Along the lower edge runs a glossy patent-leather band, and beneath it sits a translucent, ice-blue tinted outsole. Those are exactly the two signatures of the Air Jordan 11. Above that is a higher ankle panel with a pull loop and a mesh window on the flank, elements from the late ’80s and ’90s of the line.
That makes this line a relative of the Air Spizike, which does the same but as a tribute to Spike Lee. Where the Spizike explicitly sells its collage as a story, the Jumpman models do it without ceremony: familiar shapes, executed more accessibly, and released annually in new combinations.
A few names in the titles deserve explanation. Jack editions carry the name of Travis Scott, whose collaboration with Jordan Brand gave them their own audience. Pro, Quick and MVP are separate silhouettes within the same branch, and Slide titles are slide sandals with the same logo. The actual numbered models are on their own pages, with the Air Jordan 1 as the starting point of it all.
On this page you can see which versions of the Air Jordan Jumpman are currently hottest according to the Hypescore, the starting prices, and how many shops have them in stock.
