The Adidas Stabil is one of the brand’s best-known indoor court shoes, traditionally used in indoor sports such as handball, squash and badminton. The name says what it’s about: stability. A low, wide construction keeps the foot controlled during quick turns and lateral movements, and the non-marking gum outsole provides grip on the indoor floor. It is a performance shoe with a reputation that is now also worn off the court.
Grip, stability and cushioning
The construction is entirely tailored to indoor use. The gum rubber outsole grips smooth indoor floors without leaving marks, while a torsion and support system keeps the foot stable during acceleration and braking. The midsole contains cushioning — in some versions Boost — for comfort during intense matches. The snug fit provides lockdown so the foot doesn’t slide.
