About Adidas Daily 4.0
Adidas Daily 4.0
The Daily 4.0 is the fourth generation of a low, skate-inspired sneaker that adidas markets as a simple everyday shoe. The upper is canvas, with the three stripes sewn on in leather or synthetic material, and underneath sits a vulcanized sole with a wide rubber rim.
That rim is the clearest feature. Instead of a smooth band, three horizontal grooves run around it, dividing the rim into ribs, and the brand name is stamped into the rubber on the side. The versions with a gum-coloured sole show this most clearly. There’s a small contrasting panel on the heel with the brand name, and the same lettering runs along the top edge of the tongue.
The shape comes from the skate-shoe repertoire: low, flat, and with a toe that continues right up to just above the rubber rim. That makes the model related to the classic canvas models from other brands, but it’s an ordinary street shoe and not a shoe tested for skateboarding use.
Within the range the model sits in the affordable corner of the catalogue, in low-key colourways: grey, black, navy, olive and clay, usually with white stripes. The previous generation is on the page for the Adidas Daily 3.0; the tidier alternative from the brand is the Adidas Grand Court.
On this page you can see which versions of the Adidas Daily 4.0 are currently the hottest according to the Hypescore, the prices they start at and how many shops have them in stock.
