Vetements Sneakers
Vetements is the luxury brand founded in Paris in 2014 by Georgian designers Demna and Guram Gvasalia, known for its oversized, deconstructed fashion.
About Vetements
Deconstruction as a signature. Vetements — French for “clothing” — was founded in 2014 by Georgian designers Demna and Guram Gvasalia. The label broke through at remarkable speed with oversized proportions, reconstructed garments and an ironic reinterpretation of everyday imagery, from delivery service logos to uniforms.
A break with fashion. Its raw, streetwear-driven approach stood out among polished Parisian fashion. The success was so great that Demna was brought into Balenciaga after just three collections; since 2021, Guram Gvasalia has led the brand as creative director.
Sneakers in the same language. The Vetements signature is also visible in its footwear: oversized, sometimes deliberately clunky silhouettes and a tendency to make familiar shapes just a little different — and bigger — than you expect.
