About Supra
From LA’s skate scene. Supra was founded in 2006 by Angel Cabada, alongside pro skateboarders including Chad Muska, Erik Ellington and Jim Greco. Muska described the start as “an underground idea between five people that turned into a crazy explosion.”
The Skytop. The best-known model, Chad Muska’s Skytop, was a striking high-top with a chunky, padded silhouette. The shoe stood out far beyond the skate world and was worn by musicians and other famous names — pushing Supra from the skate scene into the mainstream.
Changing owners, same roots. Over the years the brand changed hands, until it was acquired and relaunched in South Korea in 2020. Despite that journey, the foundation remains the same: a skate shoe with a bold, recognizable character.
