Kith Sneakers
About Kith
From sneaker shop to streetwear institution. Ronnie Fieg opened Kith on November 11, 2011 in New York as a footwear and apparel boutique. The name comes from the phrase “kith and kin” — friends and relatives. What started as a curated sneaker store grew in just over a decade into a brand with its own collections, stores from Tokyo to Paris, and a cult status few streetwear labels match.
Built on sneakers. Kith’s foundation is footwear. Fieg made his name through sought-after collaborations — including with New Balance, ASICS, Nike and adidas — and those sneaker releases remain the engine of the brand. Kith doesn’t just sell other people’s models; it often puts its own understated colorways on them.
The culture around it. Kith has never been just a store. Think Kith Treats, the in-store cereal bar, the spaces designed by Snarkitecture, and collaborations that reach far beyond fashion — from Coca-Cola and BMW to Versace and Armani. That mix of sneakers, fashion and lifestyle makes the brand more than the sum of its releases.
