Wit neemt hier meteen het eerste woord. Het bovenwerk van de adidas Sambae 2.0 leunt op een strakke Cloud White-basis van leer, waar de klassieke drie strepen in Core Black overheen lopen als een scherpe grafische onderbreking. Op de voorvoet zit een vleugje suède dat de gladde witte vlakken zachter maakt en meteen wat karakter en diepte toevoegt. Daaronder rolt een gumzool in warm honingbruin, het detail dat deze IG5744 zijn vintage-knipoog geeft en de rest van het palet aardt.
Dat leer werkt in je voordeel: het houdt netjes zijn vorm en veeg je met een doek zo weer schoon. De suède op de neus voelt premium en de gumzool pakt grip op gladde vloeren. Nieuw aan deze 2.0 is de opgetilde plateauzool, die je net wat extra lengte en een steviger silhouet geeft. Combineer 'm met een omgeslagen jeans of een korte broek, zodat die honingkleurige rand vrij baan krijgt.
