Wit leer vormt de basis, en daaroverheen legt midnight navy zich neer als een diepe, bijna middernachtelijke blauwtint op de overlays. De cement grey elephant-print — dat grijze reliëf rond de neus en de hiel — geeft deze DM0966-140 zijn onmiskenbare karakter, terwijl zwarte accenten de lijnen strak aanzetten. Het blauw doet het rustige werk, het grijze reliëf brengt de textuur, en zo blijft de kleurstelling ingetogen zonder ook maar even saai te worden. Het leer houdt bovendien zijn vorm dag na dag en laat zich met een vochtig doekje in een paar vegen weer schoon poetsen.
