Zwart op zwart, van neus tot hiel. Deze Air Jordan 3 in PS-maat houdt het volledig monochroom: een diep zwarte bovenkant waarin glad leer, generfd leer en een vleugje lakleer met elkaar spelen. Kijk je van dichtbij, dan zie je de tonale olifantenprint terugkeren — hetzelfde donkere zwart, alleen in reliëf, zodat het patroon subtiel meebeweegt met het licht. Dark Charcoal geeft de details net genoeg diepte om het silhouet niet vlak te laten ogen. Het is de Black Cat-uitvoering (DM0966-001), vernoemd naar de bijnaam die de kleur zo compromisloos maakt.
Leer als bovenmateriaal betekent dat de schoen zijn vorm vasthoudt en met een doekje schoon veegt — handig bij een paar dat vooral zwart wil blijven. De verstevigde enkelkraag geeft kleine voeten houvast, terwijl de zichtbare Air-eenheid in de hiel elke stap opvangt. Het vleugellogo op de enkel maakt de herkomst af. Combineer 'm met een zwarte jogger of een felle sok die door het monochrome zwart heen knalt; deze kleurstelling laat de rest van de outfit het woord doen.
