Zwart en wit, meer heb je niet nodig. De Air Jordan 1 Low zet die twee kleuren pal tegenover elkaar: diep zwart op de panelen, helder wit dat er strak doorheen snijdt. Het contrast is scherp genoeg om op te vallen en rustig genoeg om overal bij te dragen, van een donkere spijkerbroek tot een korte broek op een warme dag. Geen ruis, geen twijfel, gewoon een colorway die z'n werk doet zodra je 'm aantrekt.
De lage snit houdt je enkel vrij, dus je stapt er zo in en beweegt zonder dat er iets knelt. Onder je voet vangt de Air-demping elke stap op, zodat een lange dag op de been niet in je hakken gaat zitten. Het zwart-witte palet (DH6931-001 voor wie 'm zoekt) blijft neutraal, dus je kunt er alle kanten mee op: witte sokken net boven de rand voor een schone look, of felle kleuren erbij als je juist wilt dat de sneaker de basis vormt.
