The adidas Megaride 01 is the most faithful execution within the range. Where later variants stretch the design language, the 01 sticks to the original from the 2000s: an elongated, low running silhouette with a fine mesh upper and three stripes that lie on the side as ribbed bars.

Attention focuses on the heel. There are two large, open tunnels in the midsole, like rings you can look straight through, with a flat outsole beneath. It’s the detail that gives the entire Megaride family its recognizability, here executed in its most direct form. The toe is protected by a mudguard and the collar is lightly padded.
