Cement Grey, wit en True Blue — dit trio maakt deze Air Jordan 1 Mid meteen herkenbaar. Het grijs geeft de schoen een koele, licht stoffige ondertoon, waar het diepe blauw juist tegenin knalt en voor de spanning zorgt. Wit brengt rust: het houdt de kleurvlakken uit elkaar en laat dat blauw ademen in plaats van overheersen. De gestikte Swoosh zet de vlakken strak af, en de stylecode DQ8426-014 verklapt aan de kenner precies welke variant je aan je voeten hebt.
Het gladde leer van de bovenkant is meer dan een look: het houdt zijn vorm, kreukt niet snel en veeg je met een doekje zo weer schoon. De mid-snit sluit netjes rond je enkel en de gewatteerde kraag legt daar een zacht randje comfort omheen, terwijl de Air-demping in de witte tussenzool je stappen de hele dag opvangt. Sinds januari 2023 op de plank en nog altijd dankbaar om te stylen: houd de rest ingetogen — donkere jeans, een grijze hoodie — en laat het blauw het werk doen.
