Zwart en egret — een zachte, roomwitte tint die net iets warmer oogt dan hard wit — bepalen hier het hele ritme. Het canvas is diepzwart, terwijl de egret opduikt op de foxing, de neusbumper en de fijne stiksels, zodat de contouren van dit silhouet meteen leesbaar zijn. Die twee kleuren houden elkaar mooi in balans: rustig genoeg voor elke dag, maar met een randje. Onder colorway A00916C schuilt bovendien de Plus-lezing van de Chuck 70, met vervormde details en asymmetrische lijnen die het klassieke model net uit z'n evenwicht trekken.
Het halfzware canvas ademt en blijft licht aan je voet, ook als je 'm een hele dag draagt, terwijl de gevulkaniseerde rubberzool je grip geeft op gladde ondergrond.
