Uniting Japanese heritage and craftsmanship with modern mechanical design, this silhouette draws inspiration from a samurai’s armor-shielding the body while allowing it to move freely. The angled GEL® technology cushioning unit in the heel references the shape of the samurai’s curvaceous katana sword to better attenuate the severity of shock upon heel strike. Presenting TRUSSTIC™ SYSTEM technology under the sole’s arch to improve stability, this feature also lessens the shoe’s overall weight.
