Salomon XT-4

The XT-4 comes from Salomon’s trail-running archive and returned when the brand’s technical mountain shoes found their way into the city. The shape remained; the destination shifted from the trail to the pavement.

The upper combines a light, breathable mesh with durable synthetic overlays that wrap the foot and provide lateral support. The closure is the thin Quicklace: a single pull cord with a toggle that you tighten in one motion instead of tying.

Underfoot is a dual-density EVA midsole, two densities that absorb impact while retaining responsiveness. Beneath that sits a stabilizing chassis Salomon calls the Agile Chassis System, which counters torsion.

The XT-4 also appeared in collaborations, including with MM6 Maison Margiela, and in OG colorways such as Asphalt and Aurora Borealis.
