Wit voert hier de boventoon, maar het zijn de grijstinten en die felrode toets die deze Dunk Low uit de rij trekken. Over de witte leren basis liggen overlays in wolfgrijs, met een korrelige pebbled-structuur die het leer wat meer diepte en karakter geeft. Rond de hiel en langs de neus vang je die grijze panelen, terwijl de University Red Swoosh er als een scherp accent overheen valt. Leer als hoofdmateriaal betekent dat de schoen zijn vorm vasthoudt en je een vlek zo wegveegt.
De GS-uitvoering (stylecode DV7149-001) valt wat kleiner uit, dus houd daar bij de maat rekening mee. Qua styling is dit een makkelijke: het witte grondwerk en het neutrale grijs laten zich met bijna alles combineren, en dat rode vleugje geeft je net genoeg reden om er een rood detail bij te pakken — een sok of een cap. Draag 'm bij een lichte jeans en de kleuren doen het rustige werk, of zet 'm juist tegen iets donkers zodat het wit en rood echt naar voren springen.
