De charme van deze Dunk Low SE zit in het contrast: geen enkele kant is hetzelfde. Op een romige sail-basis liggen twee camopatronen die elkaar niet raken — achteraan zie je warme beige desert-tinten, vooraan een koeler wit-grijs winterpatroon. Vintage green en total orange springen er tussen als speelse accenten, precies genoeg om het geheel wakker te houden. Doordat links en rechts van elkaar verschillen, draag je twee halve schoenen die samen kloppen; een detail dat kenners meteen herkennen aan stylecode DH0957-100.
De basis is leer, en dat merk je: het houdt zijn vorm netjes en een vochtige doek is genoeg om de lichte panelen fris te houden. Op de tong zit een zwart Nike-label op nylon, een rustpunt tussen al die drukte. Omdat het kleurenpalet zo breed is, hoef je zelf weinig te doen — een effen broek in crème, olijf of zwart laat het camo alle aandacht pakken. Rol de zoom een slag op en je zet die asymmetrie extra in de kijker. Een paar dat opvalt zonder te schreeuwen.
