Nike CORTEZ “Cacao Wow” (DN1791-104)
Warme cacaotinten geven deze dames-Cortez zijn karakter. De basis is zacht sail, een gebroken-witte grondtoon die het silhouet luchtig houdt, terwijl khaki en diep bruin — de tint die Nike Cacao Wow doopte — de swoosh en overlays laten opgloeien. Het is een aardse combinatie die eerder aan koffie met warme melk doet denken dan aan hard contrast. Het bovenwerk mengt glad leer met nylon: het leer houdt seizoen na seizoen zijn vorm en veeg je met een doek zo weer schoon, het nylon houdt het geheel licht. Onder alles ligt een witte schuimzool die de bruintinten fris opbreekt.
Deze uitvoering (DN1791-104) blijft trouw aan de strakke lijnen van het origineel uit 1972, dus je krijgt een slank, tijdloos profiel dat overal onder past. Draag 'm bij een crèmekleurige broek of spijkerstof in een lichte wassing die de cacao laat spreken — de aardtinten doen de rest.
