Zacht mintgroen zet hier de toon: Barely Green legt een koele, bijna vervaagde laag over het silhouet, terwijl wit de gestapelde panelen fris houdt. Daartussen duiken zachte lila-tinten op — dat Platinum Violet kleurt de gelaagde overlays en de dubbele Swoosh net anders dan je gewend bent — en zwarte accenten geven de pastel het nodige tegenwicht. Het is die opeenstapeling van tonen, laag over laag, die deze Shadow (CV8480-300) een speels, net-iets-drukker karakter meegeeft dan de klassieke Air Force 1.
