Skechers size chart: which size should you get?

Skechers is known for comfort and roomy fits, but its size chart paints a surprisingly inconsistent picture. For women, every size differs from the standard conversion, in both EU and UK sizing. For men, that’s only seven out of eighteen. Two ranges from the same brand that behave completely differently.

That’s good news for a brand whose women’s range differs significantly from the standard conversion: the fit is right, it’s just the number on the box that requires a quick lookup.

The women’s range is completely out of step

For women, US 8.5 corresponds to EU 38.5, while the standard chart uses EU 40. That’s a difference of one and a half sizes, and all fourteen comparable rows differ in the same way.

So this isn’t a brand where you can safely guess your women’s size. Use the chart to convert, or better yet, use the centimetre column.

The men’s range only starts at EU 39

The official Skechers men’s chart starts at US 6.5, or EU 39, and goes up to 50.5. The brand doesn’t publish smaller men’s sizes.

Within that range, Skechers follows the standard reasonably closely: seven EU discrepancies across eighteen rows and just one in UK sizing.
