The adidas Ozmillen is the slimmest presence within the Oz family, the line in which adidas explores its futuristic side. Where the Ozelia and the Ozrah go all-in on volume, the Ozmillen leans closer to a classic early-2000s running shoe: lower, more elongated and with less mass under the heel.

The upper starts with an airy mesh base, overlaid with glossy TPU panels that curl around the three stripes like an oval. That detail gives depth to the side and also provides support around the midfoot. The eyelets are finished with small reflective accents, the lacing is plain and visible, and a sturdy counter runs along the heel. The midsole contains adiPLUS, the cushioning material adidas uses for comfortable daily wear, finished with a rubber gum section under the heel.

That makes this the Oz that most easily works with an ordinary wardrobe. The silhouette is distinctly retro-sporty but not overdone, so it works just as well with straight jeans as with shorts. If you want the Y2K look without the heft of a pronounced dad shoe, this is a good choice; if you do want that mass, look to the rest of the family.
