Three Stripes, just in leopard print. That is the whole pitch of the adidas Campus 00s “Black Leopard” (ID7039), and honestly it doesn’t need more. The rest of the shoe does exactly what a Campus 00s is supposed to do: black suede, chunky laces, a wide cream sole. Familiar ground. Only the stripes pull your eye to the side, and that’s where it stays.
The print lives on the stripes and nowhere else
Look closely at the photo and you’ll notice the leopard doesn’t show up anywhere else. No print on the heel, none on the tongue, none on the sole. Just the three stripes, light beige with dark spots and a serrated edge down both sides. That zigzag edge is what sells it. It looks like someone cut the stripes out with pinking shears and stuck them on.
Everything else stays calm. The suede is deep black, the laces are the thick, flat ones you know from the 00s Campus, and “CAMPUS” runs along the side in gold lettering. The heel gets a light tab with the Trefoil in the same beige as the stripes, so the colours actually talk to each other. The sole is cream rather than bright white, which keeps the whole thing warm instead of harsh black and white.
That’s exactly why it works. A sneaker that’s leopard from toe to heel is a statement you’ll wear twice a year. This is a black Campus with a twist. Low-key enough for a Monday, loud enough that someone asks where you got it.
Styling? Easy. Baggy black jeans or grey joggers, plain hoodie, done. Want to give the print more room? Add something beige or brown so the stripes have a partner. What you shouldn’t do: pile more leopard into the fit. One animal is enough.
Nine shops, and only two of them regular retail
This is a women’s release, and it’s no longer simply sitting on shelves. On Solezilla we currently track it at nine shops in euros, and all but two are resale platforms and marketplaces. The lowest starting price sits around 137 euros, with the two regular retailers at roughly 159 and 172 euros. From there it climbs: about 180 to 190 euros at two marketplaces, 220 to 263 euros at the bigger platforms, and one listing at 363 euros you can safely ignore.
For UK and US buyers the picture is thin. There is one listing in pounds (around £123) and one in dollars (around $163), both from the same marketplace, and both look like they cover a single size rather than a full run. If yours isn’t that size, you’re looking at the euro listings, so factor in shipping and import costs before you compare.
Whatever currency you pay in: “from” usually means the low price only applies to a few sizes. Always check that your size actually goes for that amount, because on resale half a size can easily be worth a few tens more.
The Hypescore sits at 80, which is ATOMIC, the top phase on our scale. Sounds like a lot for a Campus, but it matches what you see: plenty of interest in this exact colourway, while regular stores have barely any pairs left. Got an opinion? You can vote Grail or Bail on the sneaker page.
My take: if you already own a black Campus, this isn’t a must. If you don’t, this is the version with a bit more to say. More colourways live under the adidas Campus, and to see what your size costs today with every shop side by side, head to the Campus 00s “Black Leopard” page.
