Nike Air VaporMax 2021 Flyknit Grey 50% Sustainable Materials (DH4090-002)
Modern meets classic with the Nike Air VaporMax. Made from at least 20% recycled material by weight, its airy, easy-to-wear design combines recycled Flyknit with a stretchy collar for seamless support. The stitched-on Swoosh and recycled heel clip add a splash of intrigue as you float down the streets on incredibly soft VaporMax cushioning. Originally designed for running, the revolutionary VaporMax Air unit provides more cushioning underfoot than ever before. Featuring the first 1-piece Air unit to run the entire length of a shoe, it allows for smoother transitions and adds unbelievable cushioning. Made from post-industrial recycled yarns, the stretchy Flyknit upper is supportive, breathable and feels as light as air. Seamless collar sculpts the ankle while padding on the heel adds extra comfort. TPU heel clip made from recycled plastics adds heritage styling. Traditional lacing After the seven-year journey from conception to release, the Air VaporMax represents a new era in Nike innovation. To truly capture the feeling of “running on air”, the designers restructured the Air unit to be attached directly to the upper. As you step down, each lug gets pushed into the Air unit, ramping up the pressure. Then, as you step off, the pressure releases creating a springy bounce with flexibility. Made for runners, the futuristic technology was quickly adopted by the street, bringing this light-as-air feeling to the masses.

CheapestNike Air Vapormax 360 Vast Grey (W) Vast Grey/Particle Grey-White-White (CK2719-001)€71
PriciestNike Air VaporMax 2 Atmosphere Grey Crimson Pulse (W) Atmosphere Grey/Crimson Pulse-Total Orange (942843-005)€2.363We always compare the lowest price a colorway is currently on sale for somewhere: the cheapest entry point, usually for one specific size. The comparison stays within the same age group, because a kids size (TD/PS/GS) is priced differently than an adult size. Because the price varies per size, your size may come out a little higher. To keep the comparison fair we leave out the most and least expensive two percent — the resale outliers, and the price axis is logarithmic so both the cheap and the pricey end stay readable. Hypescore × price
Hype doesn't have to be expensive. Each dot is a Nike Air VaporMax colorway (of the 680 with a Hypescore): the further right, the more hype, and the higher a dot sits, the cheaper the sneaker. This sneaker is the photo with the red ring (Hypescore 23). Below the RRP they're called meltdowns: top-left the quiet price meltdowns (cheap, but little attention yet), top-right the radiating meltdowns — lots of hype and well below retail, the hottest deals. Above the RRP sit the grails: bottom-right the radiating grails (loved and pricey), and bottom-left the potential grails — pricey with little hype. That can simply be too expensive, but it's often where fresh drops and collabs appear that are too new to have gathered grail votes; their hype still has to build.
