Skechers Max Cushioning

Max Cushioning is exactly what the name promises: the line in which Skechers puts as much foam under the foot as possible. The brand built a complete range around it for people who are on their feet a lot, from walkers to those with standing jobs, and it has become one of the largest cushioning families outside the traditional running segment.

The construction is deliberately simple. A tall midsole of lightweight foam forms the base, with a padded insole above it that keeps the contact surface soft. The upper is usually made of knitted textile that gives with the foot, and many versions are designed to be machine-washable. The line name is printed on the sole rim, usually in a strip that runs the full length.

The line regularly intersects with other brand technologies.
