Wit leer zet de toon, en daar overheen barst Total Orange los — fel, ondubbelzinnig, precies de knal die deze Air Jordan 5 zijn Shattered Backboard-karakter geeft. De gespikkelde middenzool strooit spikkels rond, zilveren accenten vangen het licht, en onder je voet ligt een doorschijnende Grape Ice-zool die het geheel een ijzige, bijna glazen ondertoon meegeeft. Het leer houdt zijn vorm seizoen na seizoen en veeg je met één haal weer schoon, dus die witte basis blijft fris zolang je hem draagt. Voor de kenner: DC1060-100.
De zichtbare Nike Air in de zool vangt elke stap op, zodat je van 's ochtends tot laat comfortabel doorloopt zonder dat je voeten gaan protesteren. De reflecterende tong pikt licht op zodra het donker wordt — handig, en een detail dat meteen opvalt. Combineer die feloranje hits met een strakke donkere broek en laat de kleur het werk doen; een omgeslagen zoom die net de icy zool vrij laat, maakt het af.
