Wit voert hier de boventoon, maar het zijn de vurige rode accenten die deze Air Jordan 3 zijn karakter geven. Fire Red licht op langs de zoolrand en in de details, terwijl cement-grijze vlakken en zwarte lijnen voor contrast en diepte zorgen. Die mix van wit, rood, grijs en zwart maakt de kleurstelling meteen herkenbaar en toch fris: niet schreeuwerig, wel met lef. Het lederen bovenwerk (stylecode DM0966-160) houdt netjes zijn vorm en veeg je met een vochtige doek zo weer schoon, handig voor kindervoeten die nergens omheen lopen.
Deze PS-uitvoering is op maat voor kleinere voeten, dus de proporties zitten precies goed voor de jongste dragers. Draag 'm op een spijkerbroek met omgeslagen pijp, zodat de rode zoolrand en de grijze vlakken goed uitkomen, of houd het strak met een effen joggingbroek waar het wit fel tegen afsteekt. Wat eronder ook zit, het rood pakt altijd de aandacht, precies zoals bedoeld toen deze klassieker in september 2022 opnieuw verscheen.
