Geel schreeuwt hier het hardst. Varsity Maize kleurt het leren bovenwerk, terwijl Game Royal-blauw de accenten zet en het geheel een stevige tegenstem geeft. Daar tussenin houdt Sail — een warme crèmetint — de boel in balans, zodat het felle geel en het diepe blauw niet met elkaar op de vuist gaan. Bij de Reverse Laney zijn de rollen omgedraaid: het blauw dat je vaak als basis ziet, duikt nu op als accent, en het geel neemt het roer over. Omdat het bovenwerk van leer is, houdt de schoen zijn vorm en veeg je hem met een doekje weer schoon.
Het is een hoge snit, en die extra hoogte legt zich comfortabel rond je enkel voor een vertrouwd, stevig gevoel. Voor de kenner: deze kleurstelling luistert naar FD2597-700.
