Saucony has existed since 1898 and is one of the oldest running brands in the world. The ProGrid Omni appeared around 2010 as a stability shoe for runners seeking extra support over longer distances.

What ProGrid does

The name refers to Saucony’s ProGrid cushioning: a system that absorbs shock while providing stability. Together with a sturdy sole and a relatively low weight, that made the Omni series popular within the running world for years.

Back as a tech runner
