Fel Tour Yellow trekt hier alle aandacht naar zich toe: een warme, bijna zonnige geel die de klassieke Air Force 1 een compleet nieuw temperament geeft. Daar tegenover zet Sail een zachte, roomwitte rust op de tussenzool en de details, terwijl zwart de contouren aanscherpt en het geheel body geeft. Die drie kleuren spelen constant tegen elkaar in: het geel schreeuwt, het gebroken wit kalmeert, het zwart houdt orde. De DO9786-700 is er voor wie de codes leest, maar je hebt geen stylecode nodig om te zien dat deze variant opvalt zodra je een voet buiten zet.
Het bovenwerk is van leer, en dat betaalt zich uit: het houdt zijn vorm, kreukt netjes mee en veegt na een natte dag in één beweging weer schoon.
