Triple white — wit bovenwerk, witte zool, witte details. Deze New Balance 550 speelt alles op één kleur en laat de vorm van het retro-basketbalsilhouet het werk doen. Het bovenwerk is opgetrokken uit kalfsleer, dus de schoen houdt zijn strakke lijn en laat zich met een vochtige doek zo weer schoon vegen — handig bij een uitvoering die elke vlek meteen verraadt. De geperforeerde panelen breken het witte vlak en laten tegelijk lucht binnen, zodat je voet ook op een warme dag koel blijft.
