Moonbeam en Driftwood: die twee namen vertellen precies waar deze New Balance 327 om draait. Een gebroken-witte, romige basis loopt over in warme beige panelen, terwijl een bruine neus en een bruine zool het geheel aarden. De oversized N in beige ligt groot op de zijkant en trekt meteen de aandacht — het handelsmerk van de 327, hier ingetogen ingekleurd. Het silhouet leunt op de loopschoenen uit de jaren zeventig: laag uitgesneden, met een hoekige, uitlopende middenzool die het profiel net wat brutaler maakt.
De zachte suède-achtige panelen geven de schoen karakter en een premium, warme uitstraling. De trail-geïnspireerde zool met rubberen hielwikkel zorgt voor houvast op wisselende ondergrond, terwijl de lichte tong soepel om de wreef valt.
