Roze zwaait hier de scepter. Op de Air Jordan 1 Mid TD Valentine's Day botst zacht koraalroze tegen romig wit, met bessige roodtinten die de panelen aftekenen. Overal waar je kijkt duikt dat roze weer op, de ene keer zacht en poederig, de andere keer dieper en warmer, zodat het paar leeft zonder ook maar even saai te worden. Het is de kleurstelling die deze variant zijn eigen gezicht geeft: Valentijnsroze, maar dan brutaal vrolijk.
Het bovenwerk is opgebouwd uit leer, en dat merk je. Het houdt zijn vorm door de dag heen en met een vochtige doek veeg je een vlek zo weer weg — handig bij kleine voeten die overal doorheen banjeren. De mid-snit sluit rond de enkel en geeft net dat beetje steun tijdens rennen en klimmen. Voor de kenner: dit is de DQ8425-616, de toddler-uitvoering van de Valentine's Day.
