AIR Jordan 1 MID “Altitude Green” (BQ6472-031)
Altitude Green is geen schreeuwerig groen — het is een zachte, gemêleerde tint met iets heidekleurigs, alsof er een vleugje sail doorheen geweven zit. Op het leren bovenwerk speelt die groene laag tegen diepe zwarte partijen en romige off-white accenten, waardoor het silhouet meteen rustig en leesbaar oogt. Het is een kleurstelling die net zo goed werkt bij een simpele spijkerbroek als onder een lange jas. Prettig meegenomen: leer houdt netjes zijn vorm en laat zich met een vochtige doek zo weer schoon vegen.
Onder de voet zit de vertrouwde Nike Air-demping die je stappen opvangt, zodat je uren op de been blijft zonder dat je voeten gaan protesteren. De mid-snit sluit net iets hoger rond de enkel en geeft daar wat extra steun, terwijl het geheel soepel blijft ogen. Kenners herkennen deze variant aan stylecode BQ6472-031. Draag hem met een licht omgeslagen broekspijp, dan vallen het groen en het zwart mooi over elkaar en komt de gelaagdheid van de kleuren het best tot zijn recht.
