Het draait hier helemaal om die Swoosh. Op een gitzwarte basis ligt een geruite tartan-Swoosh die alle kanten op vlamt: warme sesame, een felle streep fire red en schone witte lijnen die het ruitpatroon aftekenen. Waar de meeste Air Jordan 1 Mids kiezen voor één egaal kleuraccent, gooit deze SE er een compleet dambord aan tinten tegenaan. Het zwarte leer eromheen houdt de boel rustig, zodat de ruit echt het podium pakt. Voor de kenner: dit is de DZ5329-001.
Dat bovenwerk is helemaal leer, dus de schoen houdt zijn strakke vorm en een vlek veeg je zo weg. De middenhoge snit legt een stevige rand rond je enkel, en de Air-demping onder je voet vangt elke stap op — comfortabel van vroeg tot laat. Stylingtip: laat het zwart met sesame het werk doen en houd de rest neutraal — een crème of ecru broek zet die ruit precies goed in de spotlight.
