From the Supercolor to the NMD Hu

The collaboration began in 2014, when Pharrell released the Superstar and the Stan Smith in the colorful "Supercolor" series. Two years later came his most famous contribution: the NMD Hu (Human Race), unveiled in July 2016, with "Yellow" as the first and most sought-after color and embroidered text on the side. An ultra-rare Chanel × Pharrell NMD Hu — 500 pairs, £1,000 per pair — immediately became one of the most legendary releases of the decade.

After that Pharrell broadened his output with the Tennis Hu (2017) and, during the model's wide comeback, the colorful Samba iterations. His Humanrace brand began as an adidas sub-line and grew into its own label with Sambas, Pro Models and original silhouettes.
