UGG is a tricky one, and not because the brand lacks a size chart. The problem is that it has multiple charts that contradict each other. Its women’s chart and all-gender chart give different EU equivalents for the same size. We investigated which one is correct.
Which chart we use
UGG’s own women’s chart says that US 8 is equivalent to EU 39. Its all-gender chart puts it at 39.5. Three independent sources follow the women’s chart, so that’s the one we’ve used. The all-gender version is the outlier.
That may sound like a minor detail, but the difference continues throughout the range and adds up to as much as one and a half sizes at the larger end.
A gap in the men’s range
The UGG men’s range runs from EU 39.5 to 50.5, but there are no sizes between 45.5 and 48. That’s not an omission on our part: those sizes simply don’t exist at UGG.
The men’s range is consistent in UK sizing, with just one discrepancy across fifteen rows. For women’s sizes, on the other hand, every UK size differs.
Fit
The Classic Ultra Mini fits true to size. Take your usual size.
That goes against the usual advice, too. Everywhere you look, you’ll read that you should size down by half a size in UGGs, but we couldn’t find that recommendation anywhere on a live page from the brand — it mostly exists in search snippets and on websites copying one another. The actual experience of thousands of wearers points the other way: four out of five stick with their usual size.
That does vary by model: the Platform versions score noticeably lower for “true to size” than the Classic. That’s why we don’t provide a single brand-wide figure.

Still unsure?
Measure your foot from heel to longest toe and compare that length with the cm column. Do this while standing, at the end of the day. With UGG, keep in mind that the lining compresses over time, making the shoe feel roomier than it did when you bought it.
Once you know your size, you’re two clicks away from being done. Enter it in the filter and you’ll only see shops that have your size in stock, starting with the cheapest. No more keeping tabs open to compare prices, and no guesswork at checkout.
Frequently asked questions about UGG sizing
Which UGG size chart is correct?
UGG publishes a women’s chart and an all-gender chart that contradict each other. Three independent sources follow the women’s chart, so that’s the one we use. According to that chart, US 8 is equivalent to EU 39, not 39.5.
Why are UGG men’s sizes between EU 45.5 and 48 missing?
Because those sizes don’t exist at UGG. The men’s range jumps from 45.5 to 48. That’s the brand’s actual sizing system, not a gap in our chart.
Is my UK size correct for UGG?
For men’s sizes, yes: there’s one discrepancy across fifteen rows. For women’s sizes, every UK size differs from the standard conversion, so use the chart on this page to convert it.
