Mica Green is the name, and it fits better than you’d expect. This isn’t a bright green — it’s a muted, sage-like tone that Nike kept to the leather only: the swoosh, the toe and the heel. Everything else on the Air Max 1 stays quiet. White mesh runs along the sides, light grey suede (Photon Dust) softens the panels, and the only black you’ll find is down in the outsole.
What works here is the material mix. The mesh breathes, the suede gives the shoe some body, and the firmer leather around the toe and heel finishes it off. Underneath is the familiar Air Max 1 sole: a white midsole with the Air unit showing in the heel, sitting on a darker outsole that handles street grime a little better than an all-white one would. Beyond the colour it’s a standard AM1 — low, easy shape, nothing heavy, the kind of fit most people already know how to wear.
You don’t have to build an outfit around it
Because the tone is so muted, you don’t have to plan your wardrobe around it. Denim, beige, grey, navy — the green clashes with none of it and behaves almost like a neutral. You can see that in what people search for too: “white mica green” and “mica green” come up more than anything with a loud colour claim. It gets read as a calm, wearable colourway rather than a statement. If there’d been a pink detail hiding somewhere I’d have pointed it out, but this time the green just does the job, and honestly that’s fine by me.
€121 at the floor, €275 at the top
The recommended price was around €160 when this released back in 2023. The market has widened a lot since. On Solezilla.com we’re tracking thirteen active listings today, spread across about a dozen shops, and every one of them is priced in euros. There’s no UK or US offer on this pair right now, so if you’re shopping in pounds or dollars, add shipping and import costs on top before any of these numbers mean much.
The floor sits low: GOAT at €121, Noirfoncé just under €133, Stadium Goods at €137, Side Kicks around €153. GOAT coming in a touch under the next listing is worth a size check before you get excited, but the bottom of the range is genuinely in the €120–140 area. The middle fills up between €175 and €191 with Mentastore, House of Sneakers, StockX and Sneaker Ask, and then it climbs: Collect District at €229, Klekt at €254, HYPENEEDZ at €275 right at the top. The dearer end is mostly consignment, so for a colourway that’s still regularly in stock, the money you save comes down to finding your size near the bottom of the list, not the top.
The Hypescore sits at 80, which lands in ATOMIC, the top band on our scale — mostly a sign that demand for this model hasn’t cooled since release rather than any sudden spike. The more useful detail is how far the prices stretch, which is exactly where lining up the shops and sizes side by side pays off. Find yours under €140 and you’ve got a quiet, everyday Air Max 1 without overpaying. Tell us where it lands for you in Grail or Bail.
