A Campus 00s in black suede on a gum sole. From a distance it just reads clean, almost basic. Only up close do you catch where it sits: the Campus logo is set in a crooked, torn-up font, and the name Korn — yeah, that band — rides on the heel and the tongue. This is the collab adidas did with the Bakersfield nu-metal crew back in October 2023, and two years on it’s still one of the hardest Campus colorways in rotation.
Black suede, three white stripes, and nothing else shouting
What you see in the photo is strict colorblocking. The whole upper is black suede with a nice rough nap, and three white stripes with a serrated edge run across it. The white stitching pops against the black, the tongue and heel tab are corduroy, and the white heel counter carries a small black adidas logo. The official colorway is Core Black / Cloud White / Rich Purple, but that purple doesn’t sit on the side panel — it’s tucked into the Korn branding. So from the outside it stays a black-and-white shoe, and that’s exactly why you reach for it more than once. This isn’t band merch that disappears into the closet after one wear.
Wear it the way you’d wear any Campus: under baggy jeans, a cargo, or a wide fit. The gum sole breaks up the black just enough to warm it up versus a standard black-and-white pair. Clean enough for everyday, enough detail to finish your fit without doing anything else.
Sold out, and the resale starts around 335 euros
Here’s where it flips. The Korn Campus dropped at regular retail in 2023, but none of that is left — this is resale-only. Solezilla is tracking twelve active listings for this pair right now. In euros the cheapest sits around 335 euros at the big marketplaces, climbing to roughly 1,400 euros at the designer platforms across nine or so shops. UK and US buyers have thinner options: there’s one listing around 637 pounds and one around 844 dollars, both resale, so factor in shipping and import on top. The Hypescore reads 84 — band ATOMIC — so the charge is still there two years after the drop.
Grail or Bail? For a Campus fan with some metal in the rotation this is a Grail; for everyone else it comes down to that price tag. And with a resale-only pair the gap runs into the hundreds fast: check which sizes get left behind and compare the shops side by side before you commit. That’s the whole game.
