Vans x Vincent Van Gogh Authentic "Self-Portrait" (VA38EMU5X)
Vans x Vincent Van Gogh Authentic "Self-Portrait" (VA38EMU5X)
Vans have joined forces with Amsterdam’s Van Gogh Museum to design a variety of sneakers and other apparel which feature prints of the famous artist’s most iconic pieces. This sneaker is dubbed ‘Self-Portrait’ and the print is based on the art piece of the same name. All the colours found on the sneaker are inspired by the original painting and the blue tones dominate most of the upper. The laces and the vulcanised sole are both coloured white and provide great contrast to the blue and tan tones found on the shoe. The Vans ‘Off The Wall’ logos are the present on the heel and the insole features the Vans x Van Gogh Museum logo which indicates this was part of a special collaborative collection. These originally released in August 2018 and if you’re a fan of Van Gogh’s artwork and Vans’ sneakers than grab a pair of these arty classics right here at Solezilla!

CheapestVans Authentic Black (VN000EENBLA1)€25
PriciestVans Authentic Anti Social Social Club Get Weird Black Black/Pink (VN000UDDOYN)€2.461We always compare the lowest price a colorway is currently on sale for somewhere: the cheapest entry point, usually for one specific size. The comparison stays within the same age group, because a kids size (TD/PS/GS) is priced differently than an adult size. Because the price varies per size, your size may come out a little higher. To keep the comparison fair we leave out the most and least expensive two percent — the resale outliers, and the price axis is logarithmic so both the cheap and the pricey end stay readable. Hypescore × price
Hype doesn't have to be expensive. Each dot is a Vans Authentic colorway (of the 657 with a Hypescore): the further right, the more hype, and the higher a dot sits, the cheaper the sneaker. This sneaker is the photo with the red ring (Hypescore 18). Below the RRP they're called meltdowns: top-left the quiet price meltdowns (cheap, but little attention yet), top-right the radiating meltdowns — lots of hype and well below retail, the hottest deals. Above the RRP sit the grails: bottom-right the radiating grails (loved and pricey), and bottom-left the potential grails — pricey with little hype. That can simply be too expensive, but it's often where fresh drops and collabs appear that are too new to have gathered grail votes; their hype still has to build.
