Asphaltgold, the German retailer has collaborated with ASICS Tiger in 2018, to create the Gel-DS Trainer OG ‘Jugendstil’ special box. These sneakers have taken inspiration from Künstlerkolonie Mathildenhöhe and this reflects the designers love for their city. The sneakers feature a sand like suede on the upper portion of the shoe with an overlay of hot pink. Not to forget the classic ASICS GEL cushioning is part of the sneakers final look with the co-branding of both designers on the tongue.
