Nike x Skepta Air Max 97 Ultra’17 Lab Skeptair (AJ1988-900)
Nike enlisted the help of British grime MC Skepta for the ‘Nike x Skepta Air Max 97 Ultra 17’, dubbed ‘Skeptair’. The sneakers were inspired by the original Air Tuned Max from 1999 and come in a black and sulfur colourway. Originally released in September 2017 to commemorate Air Max 97’s 20th anniversary, the sneakers have an upper constructed from leather which is polyurethane coated. Black mesh is also utilised between the leather and the Nike "Swoosh" logo has been welded instead of embroidered. Additional details include embroidery on the tongue and heels which reference sportswear which Skepta saw local Moroccans wearing during his visits to Morocco. The sneakers sit atop the Air Max cushioning sole unit to ensure lasting comfort with every step you take. Get these exclusive sneakers from Skepta and Nike right here at Solezilla!

PriciestNike Air Max 97 Ultra 17 Vast Grey Obsidian (W) Vast Grey/Obsidian-Particle Rose (917704-006)€665We always compare the lowest price a colorway is currently on sale for somewhere: the cheapest entry point, usually for one specific size. The comparison stays within the same age group, because a kids size (TD/PS/GS) is priced differently than an adult size. Because the price varies per size, your size may come out a little higher. To keep the comparison fair we leave out the most and least expensive two percent — the resale outliers, and the price axis is logarithmic so both the cheap and the pricey end stay readable. Hypescore × price
Hype doesn't have to be expensive. Each dot is a Nike Air Max 97 Ultra colorway (of the 32 with a Hypescore): the further right, the more hype, and the higher a dot sits, the cheaper the sneaker. This sneaker is the photo with the red ring (Hypescore 16). Below the RRP they're called meltdowns: top-left the quiet price meltdowns (cheap, but little attention yet), top-right the radiating meltdowns — lots of hype and well below retail, the hottest deals. Above the RRP sit the grails: bottom-right the radiating grails (loved and pricey), and bottom-left the potential grails — pricey with little hype. That can simply be too expensive, but it's often where fresh drops and collabs appear that are too new to have gathered grail votes; their hype still has to build.
