De Brown Elephant draait helemaal om die olifantenprint. Op een schone witte leren basis liggen bruine overlays in Light British Tan, gestructureerd leer met dat karakteristieke olifantenmotief dat een knipoog geeft naar de Air Jordan 3. De Swoosh en afwerking staan in strak zwart, terwijl een subtiele metallic gold-accent net dat beetje extra warmte toevoegt. Nubuck en leer wisselen elkaar af, waardoor het diepte krijgt en niet plat oogt. De naam Light Orewood Brown vat de zachte, aardse toon van het geheel goed samen; kenners herkennen de variant meteen aan DZ4129-102.
Dat het leer is, betekent dat de schoen zijn vorm houdt en je hem met een vochtige doek zo weer schoon veegt. De mid-snit sluit netjes rond je enkel en geeft je wat extra steun zonder dat het log aanvoelt. De warme bruintinten maken hem verrassend veelzijdig: gooi er een crème of donkerblauwe broek onder en de olifantenprint doet het werk. Rol je pijpen een slag op zodat de gestructureerde overlays en dat gouden vleugje tot hun recht komen.
